It is the first time a company wins in two categories.
After the new Antel Data Center “Ing. José Luis Massera” got the very demanding UPTIME INSTITUTE certificates in design and construction it received two important international awards from the DCD (Data Center Dynamics) Latam Awards in a ceremony held in Mexico City.
The CDC is the most prestigious international event, which provides worldwide recognition to outstanding individuals, teams and projects in the Data Center area.
It was a though selection process. An independent panel of industry experts carefully considered every contender and decided a winner. Antel competed with more tan 70 projects from various countries Antel’s international data center was chosen as the best Enterprise Data Center and best Service Provider Data Center, being the first time a company wins in two different categories.
Antel President, engineer Andrés Tolosa emphasized: “This international recognition has a special value, because it is received a few months after our data center opening, awarding the professional and quality level of Pando’s Data Center. We have a world-class technological port ready to receive the most demanding companies from the audiovisual and telecommunication industry. Antel makes available the best market technology, besides having a team of professionals with a solid experience in a highly competitive and changing market”.
In these awards Antel had to show, besides other attributes, an “innovative and pioneering approach” as the DCD (Data Center Dynamics) Latam Awards guidelines indicate. These values are an integral part of the Uruguayan communication company strategy, which leads the most modern Latin American telecommunications infrastructure development.
