According to the Household survey, 18% are tenants, 21% occupants and 60% home owners. There are also more homes with Cable TV than with telephone.

The National Statistics Institute (INE, for its Spanish acronym) released the latest data of the Household Survey and it shows that in terms of housing, 60% own their own home. Tenants account for 18% and occupants 21%. Whereas 0.7% are squatters.

About 8.4% have «several structural problems», both in construction and because of damage.   INE considers a household to have «several problems» when it has four or more flaws. These flaws refer to external walls with lightweight materials, lightweight roofs or without ceiling, cracked walls, doors and windows in bad condition, cracks in the floor, crumbling plaster, possible flooding when it rains, risk of collapsing or toilets without toilet tank.

In 100%, 97.2% have at least one bathroom and 2% share a bathroom with another house, while 0.8% does not have one.

In terms of comfort and amenities, 97.6% has a refrigerator, 89.6% has a radio, 81.9% has a hot water system, 77.4% a washing machine, 61.1% a microwave and 49.7% a DVD player.

This data shows that there are more households with cable TV (accounting for 65.1%), against 64.8% that have telephone connection. 66.1% of households have a computer. In this regard, 52.8% have Internet connection and 25.7% air conditioning.

Concerning vehicles, 52.8% have a car or utility vehicle and 34.7% have a motorbike.
