Both films were very well received by the Festival audience.

Uruguay’s participation in Cannes is possible thanks to Uruguay Film Commission, the Uruguayan Cinema Institute (ICAUMEC) and Uruguay XXI, with support from the Locations Department of the Montevideo Council.

According to reports of festival attendees, the Uruguayan stand allowed for fruitful work with international festivals organizers,, producers, sales agents, as well as to advancing cooperation agreements with other countries, particularly Chile, Belgium and Colombia.
