During this week, several promotional activities are being carried out in the framework of the Internoga Gastronomy Trade Show, ending on March 19, in Hamburg, Germany.

INAC joins the German chain, BLOCK FOODS, in its activities, which will introduce a menu for all visitors to taste, cooked with Uruguayan meats: Carpaccio, bull soup, boneless rib-eye steak, grilled strip steak, accompanied by Tannat wines.

The idea is to show how Uruguayan meat adapts to different presentations and cooking types.

INAC is represented by its president, Alfredo Fratti.

Moreover, 84 Famila supermarkets,  where BLOCK HOUSE has been exclusive distributor for over 20 years, will launch a special promotion until the end of the month. They will only offer Uruguayan meat as imported meat, with display advertisement.

In the framework of the same promotion launched in October 2013, two tickets to Uruguay with accommodation will be raffled among customers who buy Uruguayan meat.

A bimonthly brochure with cut promotions will be sent for every supermarket in north Germany, reaching 3 million homes each time.

From March 14 and until the end of the month, BLOCK HOUSE’S 14 restaurants in Hamburg will serve Uruguayan Roast Beef accompanied by Tannat wine. From March 15 and for three weeks, the remaining BLOCK HOUSE’s restaurants in Germany will introduce Uruguayan meats into their menu.

This promotion is completed with 150 backlight billboards in Hamburg to promote Uruguayan meat at strategic points.

On Sunday 16 March, at 7:30 pm, BLOCK Group’s 5-star Grand Elysee Hotel will hold the «Uruguayan night», expecting the attendance of 200-250 people. The menu will include Uruguayan beef and Tannat wines to enjoy a tango music show.
